50 member organizations of the Cluj Cultural Centre participated at the first General Meeting of 2019, held at Babeş-Bolyai University, Casa Universitarilor Room, on January 21st. Cluj Cultural Centre announced a new session of updating for the cultural program, the adherence of four new members to the Association, and the mandate of Stefan Teisanu for the next three years, as Director of Cluj Cultural Centre.
During February, Cluj Culture Centre will host meetings to update the cultural planning for the next three years. Members of the Centre will participate to the meetings, considering their interests for our 13 projects developed in the cultural program of the Centre: European Center of Contemporary Art, Inner Space, Playful Art, Inclujiune, Jivipen, Riveran, Culturepreneurs, Quantum Sciences Center, Remarkable Romania, Etnogalactica, Academy of Change, Culture Next, Urban Innovation Division.
Four new members joined to our community, receiving a favorable vote at the General Meeting: PLAI Association (ZAIN), Cluj IT Cluster, Association for Women\’s Culture and Emancipation, and Cultural Cluj Association.

“We have been collaborating with Cluj Cultural Centre for a while, from the very beginning, when the projects proposed for the European Cultural Capital candidature were in their early stages of development. Therefore, becoming a member of the Centre is a natural step for Cluj IT Cluster. We hope that we can add value to the projects developed in our community. During February, any legal entity interested in becoming a member of the Cluj Cultural Centre may submit a membership request on office@cccluj.ro. Requests will be reviewed by the Board of Directors and then sent for final approval at the Annual General Meeting in March, 2019. The membership application form can be downloaded from here.
The members of the Cluj Cultural Centre have the right to vote in the General Meeting, being able to make decisions regarding both objectives and the projects of the Association, have the right to empower members in the Board of Directors and to select the members of the Association. The annual membership fee is 50 euros for non-governmental organizations and 100 euro for public institutions.
During the meeting, the Board of Directors mandated Ştefan Teişanu to be the Director of the Cluj Cultural Centre for the next three years.
