MESOC is a research and innovation project designed to propose, to test and to validate an innovating and original approach for measuring the value of society and the impact of cultural policies and practices in connection with three themes present on the new European Agenda for Culture: Health and well-being, urban and territorial regeneration, and engagement and participation.
The instrument assessing the social impact of culture developed within the project will be applied in 4 pilot cities, Cluj being one of them. The instrument will focus on the impact of culture on health and well-being. MESOC is financed by the European Union under Horizon 2020 program, in which Cluj Cultural Centre will be a partner among other European organizations.
