Call for art projects exploring the relation between arts, health and well-being

Deadline extended: 19th of April.

The initiators of the project Art & Well-being invite artists from Europe to propose artworks – installations, performances, interventions in the public space, and others – that explore aspects and themes related to health and well-being. The call is open for proposals under two categories: (1) development and production of artworks to be exhibited and presented within Art & Well-being exhibitions in Brussels, Cluj and Maribor during fall 2020 and spring 2021 and (2) projects to be developed during 1-2 week long artistic residencies hosted by one of the three artistic partners in Brussels, Cluj and Maribor.

The call guidelines and application form are available online at www.art-wellbeing.eu/form. The deadline for submissions is April 8, 2020.

An international expert jury will select up to 5 individual installations/artworks and 3 projects for artistic residences. Financial support tailored based on the specificity, duration and complexity of selected projects is offered towards production costs, artist fees, and travel and accommodation (in the case of artistic residencies only).
