Cluj Cultural Centre develops through the Learning QUB and the Art & Well-being projects sustainable models of cultural and scientific education, contributing through arts to the well-being of the beneficiaries of these projects.

The initiative at the “Onisifor Ghibu” High School is carried out through a participatory process with more than 20 people involved, landscapers, architects, artists, photographers, researchers in psychology and public health and school representatives.

The entire participatory process is facilitated by Urban Scale Interventions (UK), a multidisciplinary team of researchers and designers working on the city’s challenges by creating public value. The USI team specializes in urban innovation projects focused on community, culture and well-being.

The process began in November and will end in June 2021. These solutions, piloted within the project, such as the space at Ghibu High School, will be able to be reproduced later if they prove to be functional.

The initiative of the space for arts and well-being is coordinated by the Cluj Cultural Centre within the interdisciplinary approach of the Art & Well-being project, co-financed by the Creative Europe Programme of the European Union and the Learning QUB programme, financed by Fondation Botnar.
