Organized around the topic “Understanding the digital future of cultural heritage and research”, the second consultation workshop within the inDICEs project will have two sessions, on April 20 and 21.
The workshop is aimed at professionals working in museums, libraries and other institutions undergoing digital transformation and who are invited to contribute to the future of the common cultural heritage.

The first day session ”Emergent forms of digital cultural production/re-production, participation and re-use of CHI contents in DSM” will look at how areas of cultural production intertwine especially after COVID-19 forced digitalization and which are the emergent areas to be observed. This session will be moderated by Pier Luigi Sacco and four more guests will take part in the roundtable discussion session – Marie Chatel (MOCDA), Maria Elena Colombo (Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera), Gerfried Stocker (Ars Electronica) and Sabine Himmelsbach (HeK Basel).

Sharing collections sustainably & meaningfully: A brief introduction to rights management in cultural organisations
The session aims at gathering information and best practices from cultural institutions on how their cultural content is shared online: from their relationship with right holders to their relationship with users through the uses of their cultural resources.

The project empowers Cultural and Creative Industries and policymakers to fully understand the social and economic impact of digitization and innovative reuse of cultural assets.
